As our Finance Business Partner for IT you’ll play a pivotal role in utilising your stakeholder engagement skills to combine your finance skills with a technology focus. This is critical in helping support Bupa’s change agenda through good governing and reporting of programmes.

**What you'll be doing**

The role supports the Head of Cost Ownership in providing finance support to the Functional Directors as well as delivering key financial processes including Month end and Annual Operating Plan.

**What’s a typical day?**
- Ensuring appropriate cost control around activities of defined BGUK Functions.
- Ensuring that actual, forecast and budgeted costs are fully understood by budget holders at all times.
- Acting as a conduit for all cost issues and ensuring appropriate information is provided.
- Supporting the identification and delivery of cost saving initiatives.
- Providing insightful MI and commentary.
- Providing support to business planning, budgeting and forecasting activity.
- Provide commercial support and, as appropriate, challenging proposed activity, performing financial analysis including investment appraisal as necessary.
- Providing support and analysis to strategy proposals, including scenario and sensitivity analysis, commercial appraisals, etc.

**Who we’re looking for?**
- Minimum 2 years ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Proven commercial finance experience
- Extensive business partnering experience
- Technology focus ideal but not essential
- Competent user of Excel and Power point essential
- Ideally experience of using Oracle Financials
- Developed influencing skills and negotiation skills and the ability to achieve results and successful outcomes from others where there is no shared line management.
- Objective, analytical and lateral thinking with a ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to summarize and communicate complicated technical issues.
