**LEGAL SECRETARY - PRIVATE CLIENT**

**WELLINGTON**

**SALARY RANGE £22,000 TO £26,000**

This well-established, and reputable law firm are seeking a Legal Secretary to join their Private Client department in Wellington. The firm are known for their great legal services and are accredited for their services.

The Private Client team deals with a range of areas including: Will drafting, Probate,/Estate administration, Tax Advice, Set up and administration of Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection/Deputyship.

Previous experience of legal secretarial work would be an advantage. Excellent IT skills with knowledge of digital dictation, and document and case management systems would also be an advantage. A typing speed of 65 wpm with accuracy is required

**Providing full secretarial support including;**
- Fast and accurate audio and copy typing
- Drafting basic correspondence
- Relaying accurate telephone messages from clients to fee earner (taking action in fee earners absence if appropriate)
- Diary management (including arranging meetings and making travel arrangements when necessary)
- Ensuring fee earners comply with Best Practice, Risk and Compliance and Money Laundering requirements
- Drafting bills and printing billing guides
- Dealing with file opening/closing and archiving
- Dealing with expense claims
- General office duties such as filing and photocopying
