We are seeking a Maritime Operations Co-ordinator to join our team and play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our autonomous vessels. You will coordinate all activities on vessel during on water commissioning stages including HAT and SAT.

**Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Undertake testing, commissioning, trials (FAT, HAT and SAT) and demonstration activities (both on and off the water) of L3Harris ASV vessels.
- Assist with sea trials including safe launch, recovery and towing of vessels to and from trials area.
- Daily vessel prep for trials (opening up, pre checks, wash down, closure)
- To support general vessel movements in the business as and when is required
- Safe operation or crewing of manned and unmanned vessels to support trials and testing.
- Delivery of operational training to clients.
- Routine maintenance of customer and L3HARRIS ASV owned vessels.
- Reviewing risk assessments and assistance with generating them.
- Operating within L3HARRIS ASV’s health and safety guidelines and associated risk assessments.
- Liaising with the relevant Project Manager on the organisation of trials.
- Preparation of manned and unmanned vessel(s) for trials.
- Assisting with the production of L3HARRIS ASV trials briefing packs.
- Daily Progress Report (DPR) generation and provision of feedback to the management team.
- To undertake specific responsibilities as allocated by the Head of Maritime Operations and Technical Support.

**Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience**:

- Relevant qualifications in maritime operations or a related field.
- RYA/MCA Offshore Yachtmaster.
- Experience as a Skipper or Watch-keeper.
- Demonstrated experience in co-ordinating maritime operations, including vessel deployment and recovery, logistics, and crew management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required.

**Desirable Skills / Qualifications / Experience**:

- Engineering background or experience with basic mechanical servicing experience.
- Extensive experience in command of motor cruising yachts or similar sized workboats.
- Cruising instructor or Yachtmaster would be desirable as it holds a higher level of experience.
- Experience in new boat build commissioning / customer handover.
