Retail Sales Assistant - Trago2Wheels (Motorbike Division)

**Job Type**

Full Time - 35 hours per week working 5 days from 7

**Salary**

£11.44 per hour plus generous staff discount

**Responsible to**

Retail Store Manager

**Role Summary**
- To work flexibly, undertaking retail and such other activities to maximise sales, business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

**Key Relationships**
- Retail store management and colleagues

**Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities**
- Greeting customers who enter the store
- Helping customers find the goods and products they are looking for
- Pricing goods, stocking shelves and displaying merchandise
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all fixtures, equipment and fabric of the shop premises
- Responsible for taking cash, card and finance payment
- Advising on stock counts
- Promoting special offers in-store
- Handling complaints or passing them to a manager
- Assisting the company and colleagues by carrying out such duties away from usual areas of work as may reasonably be required
- Prepared to carry out arduous work, either physical or mental
- Willing to take on reasonable additional responsibility as necessary

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Experience**
- Previous retail experience required. Good knowledge of plants, plant care and maintenance, ensuring that the plants are always kept in the best condition

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Good written and verbal communication skills
