We are looking for a highly motivated individual to become part of our expanding Diabetes & Endocrinology Secretarial Team at Pilgrim Hospital. The Medical Secretary is the hub of effective patient administration in the Business Unit and underpins the patient journey by supporting our clinical teams in delivering a high quality of patient care as well as making a difference to the patients journey. The effective and efficient patient administration supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality and by making the best use of capacity and resources. The post holder will report to the Specialty Co-ordinator and ensure the CQUIN typing target and validation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Our latest CQC report increased our ratings for being effective and well-led from ‘Requires Improvement’ to ‘Good’. Our rating for caring remained as ‘Good’.
