**Assistant Director - Commissioning & Partnerships**
**£650/Day**
**6-month contract**
Akton Resourcing are looking for an Assistant Director for Place based Commissioning and Partnerships for the London Borough of Haringey.

**Role Purpose**:
1. To provide corporate leadership and direction to place based partnerships and to support the implementation of reform across the whole system - health, care, housing, education, police and community - through integration, commissioning and partnership
2. To be dually accountable to the Council and to the Integrated Care Board and lead the joint resources required to respond effectively to needs across the place of Haringey and to deliver better outcomes for all local residents (children, families and adults)using an all-age approach.
3. To lead Strategic and Joint Commissioning for the Council and for the functions of the ICB delegated to place to ensure needs, outcomes, demand, resources and delivery are aligned across the whole system and that children, families and adults lead independent,healthy, fulfilling, safe and aspiring lives
4. To lead all-age Joint Commissioning for place in Haringey for the Council and the ICB working with a range of agencies and departments and ensuring coherence with system level strategy and planning led by the ICB at ICS level.
5. To make a significant contribution to the leadership of the Council and the ICB at place through ensuring dual accountability and a coherent joint team at a senior level, developing partnerships, notably across local government, with health and the communityand providing professional and visible leadership to staff across the organisation, and guidance to the Chief Executive, the Leader, the Cabinet, the Corporate Leadership Team and the Council on all matters relating to integration, commissioning and partnerships

**Main Responsibilities**:
1. To lead the co-production and approval of a Strategic Commissioning Strategy across the place of Haringey
2. To be the accountable lead working with the Assistant Director Commissioning (CYPS), the Assistant Director Adult Social Care, and the Director Public Health (A&H) and other agencies to ensure strategic commissioning with a focus on prevention, early interventionand strengths-based working across health and wellbeing in line with the above strategy.
3. To be the accountable lead working with the Assistant Director Commissioning (CYPS), the Assistant Director ASC, and the Director Public Health (A&H) and other agencies to ensure coherent and joined up resources to meet all age commissioning priorities,agreed through the Haringey Place Based Partnership and within the framework of approaches across the Integrated Care System
4. To lead the development of primary care at place
5. To be the key touch point for place-based integration between the Council and the NHS, and wider stakeholders and partners, leading on the development of integration, governance and accountability for the Council and the Integrated Care Board across theplace of Haringey
**Skills/Experience**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant working experience, relevant professional qualification/appropriate registration and evidence of continuing professional development
- In-depth experience at a senior managerial level of setting the vision and delivering strategies to transform health and wellbeing services
- Experience of delivering successful organisational and cultural change programmes and recent, relevant experience in an organisation of similar size and complexity
- Track record of establishing and facilitating cross organisational and partnership working and working collaboratively across organisation and professional boundaries
- In-depth experience of delivering service plans and improvement, change management and integration

**The post-holder will have accountability for**:

- Delivering a comprehensive transformation of Adult Social Care, via the implementation of the three-year Corporate Plan, Medium Term Financial Strategy and Corporate Workforce Plan.
- Leadership of 350 staff and direct line management of 5 Heads of Service
