This post is a senior leadership role within the Trust. The purpose of the role is to compassionately lead the Operational Delivery elements of the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service in the provision of safe, effective, caring, and responsive services. Leadership will be through exemplar values, staff, patient, and quality-based leadership.

As a role model, the post holder will model and be responsible for the adoption of the Trust values, ethics, and standards across the sector.
The post holder is accountable for all quality, performance, financial key performance indicators for the sector and engagement with internal business partners within the sector business unit.

The post holder will be a key figure for the public and stakeholder engagement for the Trust and will be the Trust delegated attendee at the Strategic Transformation Plan meetings.

Critical to the success of the role is the interpretation of Trust strategy, service improvements and development and priorities into quantifiable service delivery actions and results in a defined business unit of the Integration Directorate.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced leader to join as Head of Operations for NEPTS in the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST). The service is at a critical point and the successful applicant will play an integral role in the improvement journey to take the trust out of special measures and achieve our vision of providing outstanding care, with exceptional people every hour of every day.

You will lead a team aspiring to foster a culture of improvement and to support a shift in organisational culture making EEAST an exceptional place to work while providing outstanding quality of care and performance.

Working and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives and promote the position reputation of the service.
