**Key responsibilities**:
**Data Processing**:

- Analyse raw data for projects.
- Execute pre-processing tasks to enhance data quality.
- Optimise scripts for efficient data processing.
- Ensure smooth data ingestion processes into relevant systems.

**Documentation and Research**:

- Align data configurations with Confluence documentation for consistency.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and integrity of datasets.
- Actively contribute to maintaining and updating Confluence pages related to data processes.
- Engage in research tasks to enhance workflow efficiency, such as identifying optimal satellite imagery providers and Machine Learning models.

**Desired skills and attributes**:
**Essential**:

- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.
- Collaborative mindset to contribute and engage in research tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills.

**Desirable**:

- Familiarity with GIS tools and technologies.
- Understanding of quality assurance principles for data.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, R, or similar.

**Entry requirements**:

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
