**Apprentice Administrators**

Our exciting and innovative Apprenticeship Programmes are designed to attract and develop a diverse range of talented individuals who will contribute to the continued growth and success of our business.

At Bellway we have a number of “non-construction specialist” operations working to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

This role offers administrative support to the Sales function within the Eastern Counties office. We asked Eastern Counties Head of Sales what the day to day of the role looks like, "each day is so different when dealing with customers, offering variety to the role.

**What do I achieve?**
- a **nationally** recognised qualification - **Level 3 Business Administration**
- Course Duration: up to 18 months, plus end point assessment (EPA)

**Tell me all about the role**
- Work closely with the Sales team with administration support such as producing letters, memos, reports, spreadsheets, filing, diary management, organising meetings and general administration.
- Ensure accurate and up to data is present within departmental specific systems.
- Coordinate the distribution of information with other departments within the Division.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks as necessary to meet the business needs and for your own personal development.

**What is an apprenticeship?**

An apprenticeship is a paid job which offers hands-on work experience alongside off-the-job training to anyone over the age of 16. As an apprentice you are an employee with a contract of employment, holiday leave and all the benefits of being a full time member of staff. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career along with practical experience and a nationally recognised qualification.

**What does off-the-job training look like at Bellway?**

Our apprentice opportunities are registered with a college or training provider to deliver the apprenticeship framework or standard. There is a range of delivery methods such as, attending college one day each week, an assessor delivering sessions in the workplace, or distance learning.

Apprentices will also have the opportunity to attend regular skills workshops to develop transferable skills, business knowledge, and build a network of peer support to share best practices.

**How long does an apprenticeship take to complete?**

An apprenticeship takes a minimum of 12 months to a maximum of 5 years depending on the level of apprenticeship that you are studying and which industry sector you are training in.

By rule of thumb:

- Level 2: 12-18 months
- Level 3: 24 months
- Degree: up to 5 years
