**About the Trust**

At East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) we provide hospital and community health care services for Colchester, Ipswich, and local areas. Formed on 1 July 2018, ESNEFT is the largest NHS organisation in the region

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Manage, produce and distribute all the East Accord Communications and information needs
- Control and create all the East Accord Communication routes (e.g., communications strategy, immediate response needs via the East Accord Blog and other Comms needs)
- Develop, manage, control and produce the annual East Accord event.
- Develop, manage and produce the post-annual event report with the development of any further workshops and event facilitation
- Link with wider agencies across the East of England and National bodies in health, care and wider partners and attend meetings for the same
- Support the East Accord Skills Development Network working with wider Health & Care colleagues and the East Accord Skills Development Chair
- Link and bridge networks across the East Accord (and beyond across regions)
- Develop, coordinate, support and maintain networks into communities of practice

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Previous experience in similar role
- Experience of managing and developing communications in a complex and virtual environment
- Experience of working in a senior management/ leadership role
- Proven experience of working across a complex system of multiple stakeholders and achieving effective outcomes where competing agendas are in play
- Experience of managing and motivating a large team, teams or networks (especially where direct reporting links are not established / formed)
- Track-record in leading changes in practice in a complex environment to improve performance/service
