An exciting Behaviour Mentor position has become available, working at a dynamic Alternative Provision, catering for KS3 and KS4 pupils.
** Behaviour Mentor
** Alternative Provision catering for SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
** Long-term role, working full time
** Behaviour Mentor role, starting ASAP
** £400 - £450 per week
The Behaviour Mentor Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be providing in class support for pupils in KS3 and KS4, managing challenging behaviour and assisting with learning. You will also implement effective intervention strategies in coordination with the pastoral team to monitorand improve the behaviour of the children you are working with. As a Behaviour Mentor, it is important that you take a trauma-informed approach to this work.
The Behaviour Mentor:
To be eligible for this Behaviour Mentor position, you must hold a Level 3 Behaviour Mentor qualification, (or similar, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning). You should be a calm, enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor with a passion for breaking down barriersto education. You should have a good understanding of the additional needs of the pupils you are working with, which include SEMH issues, Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and communication difficulties.

This Alternative Provision located in Dudley caters for secondary aged pupils with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour and SEN that cannot be met by a mainstream setting. There is outstanding support for both pupils and staff and a warm, welcoming culture surroundingthe school.
