**Resource Planner / Programmer / Scheduler**

**Location: Moreton in Marsh**

**Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum**

**Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm**

Our client is currently going through an exciting period of change with the launch of a new Planning System. They are therefore looking for an additional member of the team to be part of the planning and scheduling of the delivery of lifesaving trainingto Fire Fighters.

As a Resource Planner, it will be your responsibility to ensure the efficient and effective daily co-ordination and delivery of training through the booking of FSC training resources and associate contractors to assist training delivery, whilst providingexcellent customer service to college clients and staff alike.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the planning and programming of resources to enable the efficient delivery of training activity at the Fire Service College.
- Input data into data base and populate information for new system launch. This will be a key deliverable particularly at the beginning of the role.
- Work within a Team of five scheduling and planning team members providing proactive resourcing and allocation of FSC classrooms, practical training venues, teaching staff, associate contractors, specialist equipment and/or assets to specific times and locations,in accordance with the relevant timetables/event requirements and competencies.
- Ensure all booking of Associates is carried out with adherence to the booking procedure including supporting the on-boarding of new Associate Tutors.
- Processing business enquiries and creating course programmes.
- Liaise across the Delivery Team and Incident Ground Team to address any resourcing conflicts or gaps.
- Programme weeks of activity to build the timetable to instructors and support staff.
- Where required assist the Planning Coordinator ensuring accurate and timely resolutions to business enquiries, ensure future planning is carried out efficiently.
- Attend, when required, weekly Training Coordination Meetings.
