**The Opportunity**:
You will work with relevant stakeholders and the Head of Asset & Configuration Management to implement and support processes that ensure the effective governance, controls and integrity of McDonalds UK&I corporate data. You will have line management responsibilities and operate as a strategic leader within the Technology and Change function.

**What will my accountabilities be?**
- Create and enforce policies for effective data management following standards set by Global Technology and in line with local market legislation and regulation
- Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
- Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
- Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with internal and external stakeholders etc.
- Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards
- Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
- Monitor and analyse information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
- Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
- Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorise maintenance or modifications
- Work with the Supplier Management teams to ensure that our partners are aligned with McDonalds data standards
- Accountable for establishing a Data schema which maps all corporate data and ensures that data ownership and associated responsibilities are in place
- Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to members of the Data Management team, ensuring that the team have strong development plans and career progression and succession plans.
- Work with business owners in support of creating an overall enterprise data strategy

The Data Enablement Consultant will be part of the wider Asset & Configuration Management team..

Customers of this role will include:

- Business leads from across the company
- BSI and Finance
- Work very closely with Service Operations, Supplier Management, Cyber Security, Deployment & Testing & New Tech Adoption & Innovation
- Our partners
- Colleagues in other McDonalds markets and those working in global and segment functions
