**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a Visitor Experience Officer for Flag Fen, to develop a dynamic programme of changing events, activities and experiences for visitors. You will develop them directly yourself with the Flag Fen property team and working with community and commercial partners. You will manage and inspire the visitor service team to provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has a memorable and enjoyable visit.

Due to the nature of the role there is limited home working options. This post will be required to perform Duty Manager duties. It is essential you are able to work every other weekend and you may be required to work evening events.

**Responsibilities**:

- To continue to deliver profitable re-enactment events at Flag Fen at least twice per year.
- To develop and deliver a series of profitable changing events and experiences for visitors that reflect the site history, nature and seasonality of the parkland
- In conjunction with the learning coordinator develop a series of activities and experiences that make the most of the learning programme transferable skills and activities that can be delivered to non-education visitors during school holidays.
- To comply with all health and safety at work requirements as laid down by the employer and to be responsible for ensuring that all services, staff and volunteers comply in full with all company procedures.
- To be part of the duty manager team at Flag Fen working every other weekend.
- To produce a marketing plan and marketing briefs, in conjunction with the marketing team
- To gather audience information that can be used to enhance Flag Fen’s appeal to new and existing audiences.
- To be responsible for the effective stock management, presentation, book stock accuracy and profitability of the retail outlet.

Pay: £14,905.80 per year

Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week
