Management Accounts Assistant

Hours of work 9am - 5pm with 31 days annual leave inc BH, pension scheme, discretionary bonus and flexible working.
Management Accounts Assistant required to assist in the finance department providing support to allow for increased daily tasks in relation to JDE UK implementation. To assist Finance and purchasing manager in month end management accounts preparation.
To provide support to existing customer services team members.
**Essential Tasks**:
- Input of purchase ledger invoices
- Posting and allocating of daily customer payments
- Purchase order processing - support for purchasing manager and weekly internal purchase orders
- Daily filing of orders, invoices and delivery notes
- Processing employee expense and mileage claims
- Date entry for item codes, customer addresses etc into Excel
- Monthly reporting to assist in month end management accounts
- Daily Bank reconciliation
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Follow up and filing of Certificate of Conformity
- Goods receipting on JDE
- Ordering of office stationery and refreshments
- Answering of the telephone and taking messages during busy periods.
- Any other admin tasks as and when required.
**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**
- JDE Experience preferable
- AAT
- Excellent Excel skills
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized, diligent, and able to work well individually and part of a small team.
- A high attention of detail is crucial due to the nature of the business.
- Polite with a can-do attitude.
