We have a brand new opportunity for an individual giving officer to join our team and help us in our work to end homelessness.

It’s an exciting time to be joining us. Porchlight’s individual giving team have seen some fantastic results over the last 12 months, and we’re looking to build on that success into 2023/24.

The team is responsible for all aspects of supporter retention and acquisition, providing excellent stewardship to Porchlight’s generous donors. In this varied role, you will deliver the charity’s individual giving programme, supported by the individual giving manager. Working across a range of activities, including regular giving, cash appeals, in memory and legacy fundraising and gift aid, you will help to drive income and grow our supporter base.

**Main responsibilities**

In this varied role, you will be responsible for the delivery of the charity’s individual giving retention programme, working across multiple communication channels to grow sustainable income for Porchlight. You will work alongside acquisition counterparts to maximise the long-term return on investment for individual donors. As a proactive member of the fundraising team you will provide feedback and ideas to help us increase the effectiveness of the directorate’s work.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, able to manage competing deadlines and is target driven.

**This role requires**
- Fundraising or direct marketing experience, ideally within the charity sector.
- Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets
- Experience working to tight deadlines.
- An understanding of the principles of data protection
- A high standard of customer service for our supporters and donors

Working Pattern: Full time - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or part time available.
