You act as an advocate for your team and the user-centred design community. You are good at managing differing perspectives on designs, research and delivery of products and services. Community collaboration - you contribute to the work of others and motivate and empower colleagues. You create a productive environment for colleagues to work in.
- and context-based design - you generate multiple solutions to a problem from user research, including prototypes and facilitate testing of them.

Experience of working within constraints - you understand relevant policy, legislative, regulatory and operational constraints and find the simplest, shortest and fastest solution that meets these requirements for users. Leadership and guidance - you are committed to agreed good practice around user-centred design and agile ways of working for the team, helping onboard new starters and sensitively challenging substandard work by peers. You recommend design decisions and describe the reasoning behind these. You identify and articulate design disputes between direct peers and local stakeholders.

You understand the importance of team dynamics and collaboration for good user-centred design, and can receive and deliver feedback appropriately. Prototyping in code - you write HTML, CSS and JavaScript, while using appropriate Government and other design systems. Prototyping - you know when to use a specific prototyping technique and methods, such as coded prototypes or low-fidelity wireframes, based on its strengths and suitability. You show the value of prototyping to the team by delivering presentations Strategic thinking - you know about the strategic context of your work and why it is important.

You support strategic planning in an administrative capacity. User focus - you identify needs and engage with users or stakeholders to collate user needs evidence. You understand and define research that fits user needs. You use quantitative and qualitative data about users to turn user focus into outcomes.

In addition to the above accountabilities, as post holder you are expected to: Undertake additional duties and responsibilities in line with the overall purpose of your role. Demonstrate NHSBSA values and Core Capabilities in all aspects of your work. Promote and foster your own and colleagues safety and well-being. Contribute to a culture that values diversity and inclusion.
