Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both residents and staff members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing and implementing care plans for each resident
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers
- Supervise and support Care Assistants in their daily tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is required
- Valid driver's license is preferred
- Strong knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team of Care Assistants
- Knowledge of IT systems used in care homes is an advantage
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Hours will be between 24 and 30. Must be able to work weekends.

The shifts will be a mixture of 12 hour and 6 hour shifts

12 hour - 07:30-19:30

6 houe - 13:30-19:30

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £8.61-£13.07 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
