Materials Person/QC Inspector (Peterhead)

Materials/QC Inspector: Supporting our VAC Team in the day-to-day final inspections and paperwork

The Materials Person / Quality Control Inspector is responsible for various products as they are received, inspected, and processed through to final inspection, shipping, and completion of despatch paperwork / documentation.

Primary responsibilities
- Inspection of products / certification being received at goods inwards
- Responsible for stock management (receipts / audits / shipping) within warehouse facility
- Liaising with sales / production to resolve any issues identified with products
- Inspection of Finished Products being shipped
- Completing final Inspection checklist / compiling test report for products being dispatched
- Packing and shipping of goods to customers
- Update and utilise company systems.(electronic and paper based)
- Ensuring customer specific requirements are met during final inspection
- Any other reasonable related duties as required to meet the needs of the business

**Qualifications**:

- Work experience
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office package - Word, Excel, etc.
- On the job mentoring provided internally
