The Collecting Group started out with Collecting Cars in 2018, becoming a leading online auction platform for collectible cars in the UK, with us rapidly growing our footprint around the globe, with operations in the USA, Europe, Australia, and Canada.

In March 2021, the Collecting Group expanded to launch Watch Collecting where we have similar ambitions to grow this globally in an equally rapid manner.

We pride ourselves on aspiring to become the number one global online auction platform for the buying and selling of collectible cars and watches and are excited to be expanding our footprint in other countries and territories.

While our auctions are 100% online, behind the scenes, we are a passionate team who are always looking for talented and motivated individuals to join us.

**The opportunity**

You’ll be joining a growing, diverse team that’s currently disrupting the traditional way watches are auctioned. As a Website Operations Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in working with the wider watches team, from the initial enquiry to the end of the auction by ensuring listings contain accurate information, high-quality imagery and uphold a presentation standard that is reflective of The Collecting Group brand.

With your focus on attention to detail, you’ll work closely with Heads of Sales, Consignment Specialists, Copywriters, Photographers and Vendors to ensure auction listings are carefully curated with a focus on accuracy and quality, to help drive sales.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll gain exposure to a breadth of luxury watches, whilst playing a critical role in the smooth running of an online auction, within a unique and fast-paced sales environment.

**Requirements**:

- Relationship building - you love getting to know people and developing long-term relationships
- You’re curious, you have a keen interest in watches of all genres and eras
- Communication - you’re good at managing expectations, and understand how to exceed customer expectations by delivering a high level of service
- You are organised and methodical, able to balance competing priorities
- You’ve worked with a CRM before, and have familiarity with the MS Office suite
- Social media - you understand the differences between platforms, and what people like to engage with
- You have an appreciation of branding, especially branding consistency and the importance of company representation
- Watch knowledge/experience is preferable but not mandatory
