If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as a Teaching Assistant.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the rewarding responsibility of working with students aged 3-19 years, in either a primary or secondary setting in the classrooms of our client schools in Southampton and Eastleigh.

Your role will be to support children of all abilities, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). With your previous experience, training, or qualifications in childcare, education, health & social care, you will have the skills and knowledge needed to make a difference in the lives of these students.

In this role, you will be part of a team that collaborates closely with the classroom teacher to create an inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs, assisting with classroom activities and assessments, and helping to develop and implement individualized education plans.

Your patience, empathy, and ability to build positive relationships will be key to ensuring the success and well-being of these students.

This position offers a competitive pay rate of £75-£85 per day, allowing you to earn a full-time salary while contributing to the education and development of young learners.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm

The role is initially offered on a fixed term contract, with eventual opportunities to become a permanent member of staff within a local primary, secondary, or specialist school. Additionally, many of our client schools offer temporary-to-permanent contracts, allowing you the chance to showcase your skills and potentially secure a permanent position after 16 weeks.

We are seeking individuals who are punctual, reliable, and available on a full-time basis. Whether you are a support or care worker, tutor, sports coach, psychology graduate, or anyone with an interest in helping people with additional needs, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
