Veterinary Clinic Animal Care Assistant

This position is to provide support for clinical and reception colleagues at our Cat and Rabbit Care clinic in Northampton. No formal qualifications are required as training will be provided but individual must be proactive. An interest in the veterinary business would be preferred.
Duties include but are not limited to; care of and feeding in-patients, cleaning and preparing cat kennels, laundry and the sterilisation of surgical equipment.
The role requires minor reception duties including answering the phones and answering clients requests.
This is an average 28.5 hour per week position with the hours to be worked on the following program
Week 1,2: Monday
- Friday 8am-1.30pm
week 3,4: Monday - Friday 1.30pm-7pm
You will also be required to work 1:4 Saturdays 9am-1pm.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28.5 per week
**Salary**: From £9.80 per hour
