**Your Role**:We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Laboratory Assistant to join our Clearance Services Team in Stirling. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of routine tasks to support the team with the performance of custom GLP studies, maintain good housekeeping, equipment maintenance and stock control to ensure the smooth running of the laboratories. You will conduct routine tasks to support GLP operations and will ensure laboratories / equipment are maintained in the validated state. The scope of responsibility includes housekeeping, equipment maintenance, preparations of reagents, and assisting Associate Scientists in assay related activities. The ability to communicate well and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues is essential to the success of the role

**Who you are**:

- Previous experience working in a regulated environment (GLP/GMP) would be advantageous but not essential
- Good communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills are essential
- You are strongly focused on quality and safety, with good organisational and planning skills and can demonstrate the ability to work using your own initiative
