**Linux System Administrator**

**€370-€390 This is a 12 month+ Contract**

An International Opensource Consultancy known their continuous Integration platform allowing companies to build, deploy, test and release on demand via their cost-effective platform are seeking a remote working Linux system administrator to join their internationalremote working Opensource Infrastructure team spanning over UK, Prague, Poland, Russia & Portugal with offices in Dublin, Romania & Ukraine responsible for maintaining Linux based infrastructure estate.

**Required Skills**:

- Proven experience with Linux Operating Systems - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (required) / CentOS
- Proven experience with Hypervisors - vSphere (VMware)
- Ansible playbooks & modules and/or strong skills in scripting languages such as Bash or Python or Groovy or PowerShell or Terraform
- Proven experience with Secure configuration & hardening - CIS Benchmark
- Proven experience with Smart Management (Red Hat Satellite)
- Proven experience with Git, Subversion or other version control systems
- In-depth Linux experience and knowledge of clustering technologies is desirable Infrastructure as Code including GitOps
- Proven experience with Unix command-line and shell scripting experience

**Key responsibilities & duties include**:

- Work in a team of DevOps specialists and engineers making sure services are delivered and used according to industry and organizational best practices, standards, and service requirements
- Be responsible for the configuration and support of physical and virtual IT operations solutions and serviceAssist internal IT teams and provide advice and guidance where appropriate in relation to incidents, service requests and/or projects to ensure thesuccessful completion of said items

- Perform operational support as required and systems maintenance in accordance with solutions standard methodologies and Change Management policies
- Work closely with DevOps Engineers, Architects, Site Reliability Engineers, Delivery Managers, and Product Managers, supporting the implementation and operationalization of on premise hosted products and services
