SF Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an exciting growing business based in the Hereford area as they look to recruit a Financial Accountant into their sociable, supportive finance team. This business have ambitious plans to double revenue andthe Financial Accountant will play a key role in maintaining high quality of financial controls and to support the business in driving efficiencies and achieving their growth goals.
Role:
- Provide technical accounting support across the finance team and wider business
- Maintain and develop financial controls
- Lead on audit including liaising with auditors
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Responsible for VAT returns
- Responsible for balance sheet review
- Responsible for running the payroll including SSP, SMP, SSP as well as completing P60's, P45's and P11D's
- Corporation tax and R&D responsibility
**Requirements**:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Strong technical ability
- Organised and able to hit tight deadlines
- Be self motivated and able to work on own initiative
