**Account Assistant**

Ikra UK Ltd is offering freight forwarding solutions is recruiting for an, **“Account Assistant”** based at our office in Belvedere, Kent DA17 6AN.

We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for both Sales ledger and purchase ledger accounts.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has pervious experience 1 to 2 years within the same job role and would like to be a part of small friendly team.

**This role covers a wide range of accounts duties which includes**:
Importing of sales invoices & processing of Sales and Purchase invoices into Sage 50 Accounts.

Reconciling creditors accounts and making sure that all invoices are approved and ready to be paid for mid-month and month-end.

Setting up new customers and suppliers accounts.

Liaise with the Operation department to solve any queries.

Daily bank reconciliation.

Assist with quarterly VAT returns.

Management of Employees records, Suppliers contracts, and Fixed Assets register.

Assist the Finance Manager with day to day accounting and admin duties.

Inform manager about customers payments and any other issues on daily basis.

**Person Specification**:
The person should have at least one year experience in bookkeeping.

The previous experience of using sage is desirable but not compulsory.

Minimum qualification required is, AAT level 2-3 or Degree in Finance.

Good knowledge of Microsoft package such as Word, Excel and Outlook are compulsory.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
