**Summary**:
Ancillary workers play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of a nursing home. They are responsible for a variety of tasks, including cleaning, laundry, help the chef in the kitchen, food preparation, and transportation. Ancillary workers must be compassionate, hardworking, and dedicated to providing quality care to nursing home residents.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Wash and fold laundry for residents.
- Prepare and serve meals to residents.
- Assist the Chef in the kitchen
- Assist with resident transportation to and from appointments.
- Report any safety concerns or resident needs to nursing staff.
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week

Schedule:

- Flexitime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Larne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
