Ancillary workers play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of a nursing home. They are responsible for a variety of tasks, including cleaning, laundry, food preparation, and transportation. Ancillary workers must be compassionate, hardworking, and dedicated to providing quality care to nursing home residents.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Wash and fold laundry for residents.
- Prepare and serve meals to residents.
- Assist with resident transportation to and from appointments.
- Report any safety concerns or resident needs to nursing staff.
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures.

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
