**Quality Supervisor**

Current Connection Ltd are an electrical contractor working within the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire counties. First established as a family run business, Current Connection has seen dramatic growth in recent years.

With expansion set to continue in the social housing, commercial and high-end new build sectors Current Connection are looking to expand the team.

The role:
You will play a key role in developing the quality and regulatory standards required for the business. Reporting into the Electrical Contracts Manager the Quality Supervisor will be focusing on post-electrical work analysis and compliance to ensure that the company is meeting both industry and in-house company standards. Your location of work will be varied from job sites, to the office and at home working. Allowing the job holder the opportunity to create a varied working environment within this role.

What you’ll do:

- Design and implement a robust quality procedure to NICEIC standards
- To carry out duties as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor, validate and sign off NICEIC certification
- Reviewing Minor Works, Installation and EICR Certificates on completion of any electrical installation, alterations, or periodic testing, completed by our Electrical Engineers. Ensuring that all relevant and required information is recorded in compliance with BS7671/ 18 2
- Annually completing NICEIC approved contractor assessment visits
- Leading the team of Electrical Engineers in upholding company and industry standards. Striving to build a high performing team.
- Develop a good working relationship with the team of Electricians, supporting their individual and collective performance needs.
- Supporting the team of Electricians with technical guidance
- Complete post quality audit inspections on jobs

**Qualified Supervisor (QS) position requirements**
- Must be industry qualified/previous experience as a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor
- Experience in collaboration with field engineers and clients to foster strong working partnerships
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to promote the importance and requirement of quality assurance
- Previous experience of design and implementation of a quality assurance program (desired not essential)
- Strong knowledge of electrical certification software
- C&G 2360 Pt 1 & Pt 2. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- C&G (2394 & 2395) or 2391 Testing and inspection
- BS7671 18th Edition
- Previous experience and knowledge of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR's), and other certification
- Full UK driving license
- Enhanced DBS certificate or the ability to be able to pass through the enhanced DBS checks
- Social housing experience - Preferred but not essential

All our works are South East based and Mon-Fri.

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor: 2 years (required)
- C & G 2360 Pt1 & Pt2 NVQ Level 3 or equivalent: 1 year (required)
- C&G (2394 & 2395) or 2391 Testing and inspection: 1 year (required)
- Electrical Quality assurance: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving licence (required)
