Street Cleansing Operative

We are looking for a Street Cleansing Operative to work in our West Berkshire contract, based out of our depot in Thatcham.

The role is to help maintain and keep clean the streets and public spaces around West Berkshire.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- To clean areas to specification and schedule in accordance with company standards.
- To carry out duties as requested by Supervisor and Contract Manager
- Ensure correct uniform is worn at all times with specific attention to Health and Safety and safe working procedures
- Maintain high standards of Customer Service at all times
- To be able to work independently when required
- Take all steps to ensure that all day-to-day problems are dealt with swiftly and effectively
- Carry out all duties in compliance with all health and safety requirements
- To accurately complete daily record sheets and submit them at the end of each day
- To actively foster a positive employee morale
- Adhere to all Continental Landscapes policies and procedures.

**Experience required**:

- Experience of street cleansing operations desirable
- Full / clean driving Licence is essential

**Skills and abilities**:

- Ability to work on own initiative and also be a team player
- Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
- Good written skills e.g. able to complete daily record sheets

**Working Arrangements**
- Mon to Fri 0700hrs till 1200hrs & 1230hrs till 16.30hrs
- Weekend Working - overtime optional

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
