**Embrace Care** is seeking **Team Leaders in the Blackpool area, **to actively support their team, in effectively delivering the appropriate care to our vulnerable children and young people aged between 5-18 years. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team of a brand new bespoke ‘Short Breaks’ service.

We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic, compassionate, and caring people who can work within our bespoke service. If you are passionate about providing a therapeutic approach to support young people with learning and physical disabilities and additional needs, we would like to hear from you

**What you’ll get in return**:

- Full Time Contract **- £30,160-£32.240 per annum dependent on qualifications/experience **based on 160 hrs per month.
- No sleeps required unless the home deems it necessary
- Shift patterns are 2 in 4 off or 1 in 2 off

**Main responsibilities include**:

- To maintain a high quality of care and support which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs of the children and young people.
- Establishing positive relationships with the young people and always offering them unconditional support and a nurturing approach.
- Keeping accurate records and providing written reports on young people for planning meetings, reviews, or any other meetings, as directed by the line manager.
- Actively contributing to the development of the team and supporting RSW’s to develop within their role.
- Being aware of childcare plans for all young people and providing support for colleagues by maintaining consistency in the execution of those plans.
- Attending and contributing to regular supervision sessions in line with the national minimum standards.
- Monitoring the conduct of colleagues and referring on any causes for concern.
- Leading and managing their shift ensuring it is in line with government guidelines.

**Essential**:

- A minimum 2 years’ experience with working with children and young people.
- Driving Licence.
- NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and young people.

**Desirable**:

- At least one year within a supervisory role.

**Salary**: £30,160.00-£32,240.00 per year
