The primary purpose of the role will be to support the HR Manager with effective HR service across the company in accordance to the already existing policies in place. Be responsible for the effective and timely execution of HR procedures, and work to ensurethat the team reaches all functional goals, objectives and KPIs.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Provide accurate, well-informed advice and guidance on HR issues to employees and managers alike.
- Ownership and management of ATS to ensure best recruitment process in place and associated results achieved.
- Monitor, and advise in respect of probation review meetings for new starters and offer feedback and support.
- Maintain accurate HR business data to ensure effective monthly reporting in respect of reports to the Group Board and reporting on HR Department KPIs.
- Together with the wider HR team, be responsible for the monitoring of leave of absence
- Take ownership of appropriate contractor engagement, ensuring that contractors are organised as required, and that relevant documents are processed.
- Liaise with external legal support as required to facilitate solutions to complex ER, and other related, issues.
- Work with line managers to coach and develop capability in respect of applicable HR processes and interactions, bolstering internal capability as a result.
- Support and lead on HR project workstreams, including suggestion and steering of suitable initiatives.

**Primary skills and experiences we are looking for in the Senior HR Advisor**:

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Preferably Level 7 CIPD qualified. Experience will count also. 3+ years at Advisor level is essential.
- Ability to demonstrate a fair and consistent approach to decision making.
- Previous experience in chairing HR meetings including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and recruitment.
- Comfortable with negotiation and influencing.
- Strong interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
- Ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner
- Ability to work on own initiative but also collaboratively as part of a team.
- Completer finisher, taking pride in finishing pieces of work until they are thoroughly done.
