**Position Summary**:
This position is responsible for leading the Quality Control team to execute packaging and distribution related inspections, relating to pharmaceutical dosage forms in accordance with relevant schedules and agreed timelines working to both Client Specific and internal procedures.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership, people management, enablement and direction to the Quality Control team.
- Plan activities within the Quality Control schedule in order to achieve client and internal targets.
- Lead internal customers related to the “flow of work” through clear communication on issues, customer concerns and threats to job flow, patient critical jobs and on time delivery.
- Ensure team compliance to Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Distribution Practice, Health and Safety and ongoing internal quality programs.
- Manage all related documentation required for process governance related to Quality Control operations.
- Empowered to lead the Quality Control team development, education, performance, succession, wellbeing and complete all related management administrative duties.
- Empowered to lead investigation approvals for deviations associated with packaging and distribution activities.
- Empowered to assist the operation value stream in problem solving and making improvements to improve quality and value stream flow.
- To undertake any other tasks/projects as deemed vital for the achievement of company objectives as advised by the Operational Quality Manager.

**Education/Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- Essential: Solid understanding and proven experience with Good Manufacturing Practice and/or Good Distribution Practice in relation to pharmaceutical packaging and distribution activities.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- People leadership skills to enable development and management of a team of quality professionals to achieve department and site objectives while ensuring quality compliance.
- Cooperation with inter/intra department teams to overcome challenges and provide support to other colleagues.
- Ability to prioritise team and own workload to deliver objectives within set timeframes.
- High degree of accuracy, concentration, verbal and written communication.
- ECompetence in use of electronic computerised systems.
