Qualified Social Worker Children With Disabilities (CWD) Surrey 36 hours; full-time Social Care
**Your new company**Surrey County Council is looking to welcome experienced qualified social workers and senior professionals to join their permanent Children with Disabilities team across the county. NB: part-time opportunities are also available.
**Your new role**Surrey's Children with Disabilities (CWD) service exemplifies the Council's aim of leaving no one behind. You will work closely with the children and their families, adopting a child-centred approach to ensure that the entire family is supported. You are devotedto working in partnership with families to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and youth. Your mission mission is to maximize the life chances and possibilities for disabled children, and collaborate closely with your colleagues in adult servicesto accomplish this.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree in Social Work CQSW/DipSW or equivalent and registration as a social worker with the HCPC
- Experience of family placement, safeguarding, childcare and permanency planning ranging from straight forward to highly complex
- Communicate skilfully and engage in complex and high-risk situations including effective negotiating.
- Identify, attain and maintain high levels of practice
