**Quality Auditor (Birmingham)**
**Working Hours | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 Hours)**
**Salary | £28,000 TO £31,000 per annum**
Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join the business. This position will be based at our Head Office location - Oak House, Overbrook Lane, L34 9FB. working 40 hours between 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.
In this role, your key focus will be to audit, monitor, improve and evaluate quality systems and procedures whilst providing technical support to the operational teams. In this busy and varied role, you will maintain and promote technical and quality standards in line with business needs and customer requirements.
**Responsibilities of the Role**:
- The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following tasks:
- To always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified, pursued, and resolved.
- Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
- Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn’s values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you and our neighbours and communities.
- Completes Quality audits on MJQ engineer completed installations across various projects.
- Conducts tasks allocated by the Q Manager to ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled.
- Completes MJQ Site Assessment Checklists
- Completing Root Cause Analysis on behalf of the Q Manager if required
- Carries out safety audits to BT Standard
- Gives feedback to engineers on any issues found on audit.
- Reports to the Area Manager to arrange individual coaching with a Performance Improver, when required.
To be Successful in this role the Quality Auditor will:
- Have experience of working within a similar role/ sector
- Have strong planning, organisation, monitoring and listening skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Customer service experience - dealing with engineers is preferred but not essential.
- Good level of IT skills with experience working on Microsoft 365.
- Working with digitised platforms, apps, and other technology in a similar role
- Using own initiative, working at pace to tight deadlines
- Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Worked within the Services Sector within the last 12 months or within a similar Quality role
- Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Can prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations.
- Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
- Good numeracy skills and commercial awareness
- Be educated to a G.C.S.E level B+ in Mathematics & English (or equivalent).
- H&S qualification e.g., NEBOSH Certificate
