Our client is a successful, independent and family-owned veterinary practice based in South West London. They are committed to ensuring a welcoming experience for clients and their pets, and they strive to inspire change within the veterinary community and beyond.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a versatile individual to join their team in a dual role. The role combines the front of house responsibilities of a receptionist together with the hands-on animal care tasks of a veterinary care assistant, both of which help to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.

Previous experience in a customer service or reception role would be preferable, but they must also have knowledge of animal behaviour and basic medical terminology, and the ability to lift and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments.

This is a full-time position working 42.5 hours per week between 9am-6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Please note there is currently no weekend working with this role.

Salary will be dependent on experience and the practice provides a generous benefits package which includes workplace pension, employee discount off pet products, funded CPD and access to an Employee Assistance Programme, plus 20 days’ annual leave per annum.
