Marketing Assistant

Part-time (24 hours per week)

£25,000 per annum, pro rata

**What you will do**:

- Become the heartbeat in the commercial team, reporting to the Marketing Manager - Digital and work efficiently to support the whole department in retaining the tempo at which projects are completed.
- Bring an organised and methodical approach to completing tasks which will include:

- Briefing designers to create physical and digital assets, seeking feedback and sign off from the appropriate members of the commercial team withing the parameters of The Wave’s brand look and feel
- Assisting the marketing manager in maintaining the websites including, updating and writing web copy, SEO & conversion rate monitoring and improvements and uploading imagery and content
- You maintain the accuracy of the commercial team’s marketing calendar which ensures that the department is working collaboratively internally, as well as across operational business functions
- You will be happy to ‘muck in’ with great enthusiasm where the commercial team requires support, which may include data and insight reporting, event and exhibition delivery, content creation and community management.
- Applicable experience could be gained through either a bachelor’s degree in marketing; a vocational qualification in marketing or through experience gained in a similar role.
- A knowledge of working with word press will be an advantage, but an appetite to learn fast will also be a great trait
- A strong attention to detail and dedicated to producing high quality work
- You are just as happy working independently as well as being part of a fast moving, high performing team environment
- Good copy writing skills
- Strong organisational & prioritisation skills
