**Senior Account Executive**
**Cheltenham - Hybrid working options**
**£35,000 - £45,000**

**Role**:
A specialist in Commercial Insurance, the Senior Account Executive takes responsibility for the income and overall development of Account Executives. This will include effectively managing and developing relationships of existing customers and business partners (businesses and insurer partners) towards achieving their individual targeted income and retention rates. To provide specialist advice and appropriate insurance protection to minimise or remove identified risks and exposures.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Income ownership of Account Executives renewal book.
- To manage high value existing customer accounts up and deliver agreed NB targets.
- To line manage Account Executives delivering income in sector
- Develop and coach Account Executives and Account Brokers.
- Support Commercial renewal and servicing manager with leadership responsibilities in their absence.
- Managing established or new initiatives and identify new income streams.
- Planning and positioning of new initiatives to support longer term income objectives.
- To adhered to procedures for customer debt.
- To provide insurance advice to customers and model effective protection through the provision of appropriate insurance products.
- To always treat customers fairly in adherence with the FCA TCF principles.

**Person**:
The Senior Account Executive will have experience leading, developing and coaching a team to retain and grow a book of business accounts. You will also lead from the front, deliver against targets and ensure a high level of customer services is delivered.
- Ability to develop relationships face to face and business to business.
- Cert CII and working towards Diploma.
- Ability to deliver advice to allow customers to make informed decision.
- High level customer relationship and account management skills
- Capability to deal with high profile customers/stakeholders (CEOs, Managing Directors, Finance Director and Board level).
- Individual accountability with the ability to spot and identify opportunities and provide solutions.
- Ability to manage business priorities and retain high quality decision making.
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team of sales people.
