**About the role**:
We are now actively recruiting for Female Support Practitioners in Glasgow based at our Mosspark Service. Supporting two ladies living in a semi-detached house with great garden space, the Mosspark Service is a warm and friendly living and working environment. The team provides one to one support to adults with various complex needs and who do not always communicate through speech; therefore, the emphasis on communication is at the heart of everything we do. You will have onsite support to learn to sign and communicate effectively and in turn build relationships through trust which is a crucial part of the support we provide. The role is not without its challenges but it’s a hugely rewarding one for the right person.

The Mosspark Service provide 24-hour support, 365 days of the year. We work flexibly as a team on a rota basis. The shifts are a mixture of early shifts (07.30 - 14.30) and late shifts (14.30 - 21.30) We have a dedicated night team and have relief contract only for nights.

**About you**:
We are looking for individuals who are sensitive to people’s needs and proactive in supporting people to lead active lives. You will have a good understanding of the need to support people to stay healthy and safe, while being comfortable at managing risk accordingly.

You will use the best of your personality and skills every day. From supporting people to enjoy their favourite activities to enabling people to live independently, you will make a real difference.
