The Main Reception Team at Fulham Road, London, is seeking a full-time shift receptionist to join their team.

This role is vital for the seamless functioning of Main Reception, where you'll offer reception services to patients, relatives, staff, and contractors in a bustling environment.

As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, this role necessitates excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Managing emergency situations with composure, tact, and diplomacy is crucial. Essential keyboard/IT skills are required, while hospital experience, though advantageous, is not mandatory. This full-time position demands 37.5 hours per week.
- To provide a point of contact for the staff and patients across the Trust requiring the support and services of the wider Facilities Directorate, and to assist members of the Facilities Directorate with a range of administrative and clerical support.
- To act as a point of contact for enquiries from patients, staff and visitors and deal sensitively with any matters that may arise and ensure that urgent matters are drawn to the attention of relevant staff quickly and accurately.
- To provide cover of both Reception and Wallace Wing Desks as and when required.
- The Post holder will be required to work across Trust sites to best provide support to the Facilities Directorate and the wider organization, but it is largely anticipated that the primary base will be at Chelsea. The post holder would be expected to cover at both Reception and Wallace Wing Desks as and when required.
- Whilst workload will largely be determined by direct line management, (Reception Supervisor), the Receptionist will at times take instruction from members of the Facilities Directorate for tasks consummate with this job description.

- Dealing with enquiries from patients, visitors, and staff in an efficient and polite manner.
- Ordering taxis for Patients, Staff and Departments.
- To ensure that the Main Reception and Public areas surrounding the Department are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Check and Manage Approved Visitor/Carer lists following the current Trust procedure.
- To take responsibility for all incoming general enquiries and tasks received into the Facilities Directorate and ensure those enquiries are dealt with in the most appropriate way.
