**About the Role**

We are excited to be looking for a Regulatory and Operational Change Specialist to join our Customer Outcomes Department here at Newcastle Building Society.

The Customer Outcomes Department is a first line centralised support, oversight and assurance team that sits within the Chief Customer Officer’s function.

The role is primarily responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of change within the function to meet regulatory requirements, internal group practices and maintain a strong control environment. This will be achieved through the design and implementation of an oversight framework for business led change and the provision of project support for strategic change.

**About You**

We are looking for an experienced risk professional with a demonstrable background in a variety of risk disciplines. This should include a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape and associated standards, the translation of regulations into business requirements / processes, and the implementation of robust business controls. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to lead, influence and shape a delivery. You will need to manage multiple initiatives at once so strong organisation and a keen eye for detail is key.
