**What you’ll be doing**:
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance & Business Intelligence, you'll lead and manage the Motability Business Intelligence Unit, overseeing a dynamic team in the delivery of insightful data to inform operational plans. The Business Intelligence team plays a crucial role in managing all claims, operational, and customer reporting, both internally for the Senior Leadership Team and corporate clients. Your responsibilities include shaping, analysing, and presenting management information to set challenging business goals, maximise performance, and guide decision-making. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll ensure efficient provision of quality intelligence services, facilitate operational improvements, and build relationships across the organisation. Key aspects involve leading the development of MI packs, ensuring timely and accurate financial and operational content, engaging with business leaders to interpret MI implications, and contributing to various projects. The role extends to planning and managing unit business operations, maintaining relationships with corporate clients, and actively participating in the Direct Line Motability (DLM) leadership team. Performance will be measured against KPIs, including achieving personal and team targets, enhancing productivity, and contributing to business development.

- Ability to collaborate with the business to understand and interpret the practical business implications of financial data
- Ability to anticipate business performance issues or opportunities and recommend appropriate action
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all areas of an organisation
- Capability to understand the links between business activities and business performance, challenge constructively, give early warning of performance issues and recommend remedial action and ways to maximise business performance
