JOB TITLECooker / Packing Room Supervisor
Reporting to the Production Manager
JOB PURPOSE
- The **Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Mixing, blending, preparation, assembly, storage and packing of products produced in High Care**:

- **To monitor and report on individual staff performance. They may be required to perform other production duties within any factory or annexed areas**

**Main Responsibilities**:

- The supervision of designated operatives on and off the production line or mixing room, ensuring they are punctual, efficient and wearing the correct P.P.E.
- Inspect and record the condition of equipment and utensils, reporting damage and suitability
- To assist in the manufacture and packing of all food products produced by Summit Foods
- Operating machinery and equipment as required for the above activity
- Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties as directed
- **Populate and maintain production maintenance report and data base**:

- Assisting with the achievement of production targets
- **Populate and maintain production report data base**:

- Minimising production costs
- Minimising wastage
- **Maintain a suitable working environment in compliance with current safety and hygiene policies**:

- **Assist with production planning**:

- **Maintain a suitable working environment in compliance with current safety and hygiene policies which are available to all employees in the staff canteens and the Human Resources Department**:

- Comply with Summit Foods Hygiene Regulations which includes the correct changing procedures for each area.
- You must not intentionally interfere with or misuse any safety devices or arrangements introduced in the interest of Health & Safety
- Reporting any accident accidents, unsafe acts or conditions to immediate supervisor
- Reporting Food Safety concerns

**Skills**:

- The ability to comprehend and comply with Company hygiene policies and procedures when undertaking operations while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
- The ability to monitor and record quality and food safety performance where applicable.
- The Production Supervisor should have a comprehensive level of English language and experience or knowledge of current company policies
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies, procedures and regulations
