We are delighted to be working with a thriving business in their search for a Sales Administrator to join the team based in Cardiff.

Established 1990 in Newcastle upon Tyne, the business provides Two Way Radio communications solutions across the whole business spectrum, and in the fast-moving world of today’s business, Two Way Radio communications play a crucial role in the safety and welfare of people.

The company has continued to grow and in 2015 they opened offices in Cardiff to cater for their ever-expanding business needs.

Now comfortably established as a market leader based in Wales, the South of England and Teesside to deal with further expansion, the business needs dynamic and dedicated people to join the team.

**THE ROLE**:
You will primarily be responsible for supporting the company’s sales team with their business administration.

You will also develop existing business relationships and assist colleagues with tasks including despatching equipment, stock control, diary management and general record keeping.

The core duties will include
- Diary management for the sales team.
- Logging sales jobs and appointments on company systems.
- Booking demos and appointment for site visits.
- Answering and directing incoming calls as needed.
- Assistance with follow up from Marketing Campaigns.
- Producing company paperwork.
- Raising purchase orders with suppliers.
- Chasing up orders with suppliers.
- Despatch of customer orders / other courier related tasks.

**THE PERSON**:
Our client is looking for someone to work in their Cardiff based Sales team - and in conjunction with their Engineering, Marketing & Service departments located in Newcastle upon Tyne & Teesside.
- An excellent verbal and written communicator.
- Confident, polite and professional whilst being adaptable to their wide client base.
- A team player who can work effectively with colleagues in the local sales team and remotely in other branches.
- Capable and willing to learn quickly.
- Proactive and hands on.
- Flexible to different tasks as and when required.
- Reliable and punctual with strong attendance and work ethic.
- Extremely organised and capable of planning their own workload and assisting with colleagues work planning
