**Group Head of FP&A**

**About the role...**

Reporting into the Group Finance Director, you will have global responsibility over the financial planning cycle, delivering robust and insightful Group wide analysis to support the CEO, CFO and Group FD; understanding of the financial and commercial performance of the Group’s operations. You will assess and critically evaluate the performance of the Group’s main operating divisions. in this role your key objectives will be to:

- Critically review existing planning and reporting processes and implement a continuous improvement programme to deliver performance insights faster through the financial cycle.
- Stakeholder manage Finance Leadership Team & wider Finance Director community through processes and provide CFO with Exec / Board level engagement support.
- Work with senior stakeholders to develop long term planning / forecasting scenarios by reference to strategic objectives, external data sources and internal market/customer analysis
- Delivery of clear and succinct critical assessment of the Group’s budgets/forecasts through a combination of insightful analysis and commercial understanding.

**About You...**
- Recognized accountancy qualification with 8 years PQE minimum.
- Experience of operating at senior management level within a multi-site, large-scale organization. Leisure industry experience is preferable but not essential.
- Experience of development and use of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Hyperion, and PowerBI.
- Excellent Excel modelling skills and ability to present complex data in a clear, engaging, and succinct manner.
- Gravitas to engage at the board level constructively and proactively manage stakeholder expectations and present financial information in a clear, visually powerful way for board reviews.
- Ability to prioritize evolving department workloads and draw on external resources to deliver business requirements.
- Highly collaborative with an ability to develop open working relationships with teams in multiple locations and business units.
- Must be energized by a fast-moving growth-oriented visitor attraction business with a clear passion for the industry.
- Able to demonstrate a sound commercial business understanding gained by working at the coal face of a consumer led business.
- Must be able to demonstrate a challenging but supportive approach to managing direct reports and coaching/mentoring experience of wider finance organization.
- Some domestic and international travel may be required.
