A large part of that success has been the strategy to develop, in house, the tools that power the business. The Junior Product Owner is responsible for the development and performance of products used by internal and external customers.

In line with our Business Plan, the role is responsible for the on-going development of products with a clear focus on improving the customer experience and streamlining processes, leading improvements in productivity and profitability to deliver strategic advantage to the business. The Junior Product Owner should work closely with stakeholders across the business. Reporting to the Product Owner the role will effectively manage the development of new products and refining of new and existing business processes in line with the broader business objectives, balancing the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

You will work with several stakeholders across each of our departments to define, prioritise and own the product backlog for BAU and project workloads
- You will perform internal and external demos of the product
- You will collaborate with:

- the development teams to ensure they understand the new features, write user stories, acceptance testing and support the design of solutions
- the QA team and the stakeholders to ensure that the product is of the highest quality
- the Product Manager to ensure that the strategic product roadmap is delivered by the development backlog
- You will develop an understanding of current and future business needs, supported by data analysis and the strategic roadmap, translating these needs into user stories and acceptance tests for new features

- Proven experience as a Junior Product Owner in a similar role, working with data
- Be an expert at prioritising a backlog with both features and technical tasks to support the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Have a solid understanding of online technology, software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Ability to work semi-autonomously
- Be able to write excellent user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
- Be analytical in your approach, can design solutions to a high level, using your excellent problem-solving skills to make decisions about the best
way to solve a problem
- Excellent communication skills with strong organisational and time management skills

- Experience of using Azure Dev Op
- Business/technical flow analysis with ability to us mock up tools
- Experience in the travel industry
