**The Role**:
As the Product Owner you will lead the definition, prioritisation and communication of a Digital product team and roadmap. You will play a pivotal role in evolving our digital product and support the delivery of a world leading distribution platform. Your leadership will ensure quick, secure and effective set up of new tenants and you will drive the ongoing evolution and optimisation of the core services required to administer and manage the platform.
This role will be pivotal in enabling the delivery of an industry leading scalable, open and flexible multi-tenanted platform and proposition. You will develop a deep understanding of your product and through close working with product leads will define and deliver a roadmap that delivers against the business goals. With many stakeholders you will need to take a clear and concise approach to building a roadmap that meets the needs of Customers, Airports and B2B Partners.
You will deliver maximum business value by driving innovation and optimisation in close collaboration with the Head of Product and key stakeholders. You will lead the direction of a team of Developers, Designers and Testers.
You will have a close eye on the market and will create a product backlog of innovations that are prioritised based on customer and business value and will act as the primary decision maker before and during product development. Clear communication with multiple internal/external stakeholders will be key to ensure the product vision is understood, that the objectives are clear and that the overall goals are met.
- Market awareness, product vision and value driven roadmap to deliver world-leading products and services.
- Develop a deep understanding of products and services and the needs of customers to define and deliver long-term roadmap
- Develop product launch plans ensuring the timely & successful deliverable of your products
- Establish agile ways of working and implement Hypothesises Driven Development (HDD) approach
- Prioritise features based on potential business and customer value
- Define the opportunity and associated product requirements articulating this with passion to your development team and stakeholders
- Maintain a strong sense of focus on who the customer is and what they want / need, both current and prospective. Initiate research and user testing against your concepts and products to ensure they meet the customer needs.
- Own the validation & success criteria of all features within the backlog, to ensure what is being developed is right for the customer and the business
- Understand the commercial and business criteria that will determine success for reservation services.
- Remain in close contact with the support team to monitor customer/user feedback and performance to ensure products are meeting needs and expectations.
**What will make you successful in this role**:
- Experience in a Product owner or Business Analyst role.
- A track record of defining and delivering a product roadmap and meeting business goals
- Passionate about delivering great customer experiences
