**POSITION**: Senior Residential Childcare Worker (Residential Children’s Home)

**SALARY: £27,520 to £28,976 (incl sleep-ins)**

**HOURS**: 40 Hours per week

**START DATE**: ASAP

**Your tasks will be**:
**Teach independence**

Using life skills, you will assist with the care of our children and young people, including practical aspects such as cooking and cleaning.

**Make a difference**

You will be committed to making a difference, supporting children and ensuring their education is supported.

**Guide Staff**

Within this leadership role, you will not only ensure the welfare and care of each child but also give guidance and support to all residential workers.

**Give Structure**

Consistency and organisation skills are key. You will create timetables, setting boundaries and expectations for the young people.

**Support Behaviour**

You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.

**Create relationships**

You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Driving License

Level 3 Residential Childcare

At least 2 years experience within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people

**Salary**: £27,520.00-£28,976.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Erdington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent (required)
