The key responsibilities for this role will be:

- Ensuring cash receipt, payments and internal transfers are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensuring external bank reconciliations and internal nominal reconciliations are performed accurately and in a timely manner
- Collation and analysis of departmental M.I.
- Maintaining departmental procedures in line with internal processes and regulatory requirements
- Provide assistance and support to management and other members of staff when required
- Liaising with internal/external Auditors and other 2LOD business areas as and when required
- Understanding the systems relevant to the Cash Team
- Resolving queries raised by the business in a timely manner and escalating issues to management where appropriate
- Assist and take the lead with project work, testing and training

**The Successful Applicant**:
The successful Cash and Banking Administrator will require:

- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong administration skill set
- Previous experience working within financial services would be advantageous
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to grasp new tasks quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client service focus
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A team player able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build constructive relationships with other members of staff at various levels
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to accept responsibility for given tasks
