**Software Programmer - Competitive Salary + Bonus - Remote**

**The Role**

We are seeking a talented, self-motivated Software Programmer to join our team. As part of our programming team, you will be working closely with our Managing Director and be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining our Software products and services.

To succeed in this role, you must have experience with Software programming and be able to work independently in a remote environment. You will also need to be organized and punctual, with an eye for detail. You should also be willing to learn and keep upwith the latest trends and technologies in the Aviation software industry. You will be expected to travel for this role periodically.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of a Software Programmer include, but are not limited to:

- Working closely with the Managing Director and programming team.
- Willing to learn and maintain knowledge of the software.
- Help customers to benefit fully from Tracware products.

**The Person**

The key skills and qualities of a Software Programmer are:

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Demonstrable knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript)
- Javascript, ideally experience of using jQuery (AngularJS or Backbone JS is plus)
- Nice to have experience with Telerik Kendo component library.
- Open to new things/adaptable.
- Proactive with initiative and a common-sense approach.
- Inquisitive to learn & understand our business.
- Hardworking and trustworthy.
- Good understanding of the followings:

- Web Services - RESTful APIs
- C#,.NET Framework (.NET Core 3.1 or above is plus) & ASP.NET MVC
- Experience of continuous integration with Azure DevOps Pipeline and Team Foundation Server
- Entity Framework & SQL Server
- Debugging, Unit Testing and Functional Testing
- Understanding fundamental design principles
